We would not include pages with advertisements. WorldCat has it listed as 284 pages. Just to confirm is there anything else like acknowledgments, afterwords, appendices, bibliographies, glossaries, index, notes, or discussion questions?

The count is till 283, but includes the ads. The text is till page 280, no notes etc.
