A Deadly Cambodian Crime Spree by Shamini Flint - Inspector Singh travels to Cambodia where he has been sent as an observer to the international war crimes tribunal in Phnom Penh. Then a member of the tribunal is murdered and Inspector Singh helps with the investigation. This was the darkest book in the series (IMHO) so far. ***** 10/13/2021

Rope Burn by William W. Johnstone - The last book in theThose Jensen Boys! series. Ace and Chance Jensen went to the aid of a girl that some enlisted ruffians were harassing. A brawl ensued, a bar man was killed (not the Jensen's fault) and they and the ruffians were thrown in jail. Turns out the ruffians were deserters and they and the Jensen's were taken back to their fort sentenced to hard labor. **** 10/15/2021

Eve in Hollywood by Amor Towles - A beautifully written group of short stories centered around Evelyn Ross, a character from Amor Towles book, Rules of Civility. I particularly enjoyed the short story about when Eve met Olivia de Havilland. **** 10/16/2021

Oh man ol' Cotton Malone! I read some of this series when Da Vinci Code was buzzing around. I did really enjoy them but now it's such a huge series! lol.

Then she is enveloped by the surrounding dust. That dust covers her like a second skin. She must learn to live with it because it will not remove itself from her. Flying Too High by Kerry Greenwood - 2nd time reading: The 2nd Phryne Fisher Mystery involved 2 different mysteries, a murder of a father and also a kidnapped of a little girl. I like that these books are not long, yet you can get a well done, thoughtful, detailed story. **** 11/2/21

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren - Maelyn was on a Christmas vacation in Utah with many friends and family.
