I haven't read the books but I watched the first season of the TV show when it was on MTV. Haven't seen the rest when it went to...Netflix, I think. Maybe just one more season.

The Queens of Animation: The Untold Story of the Women Who Transformed the World of Disney and Made Cinematic History by Nathalia Holt - This was a good book, but it kind of breaks my heart to see how women were treated up until recently. The Disney Studios workshops was a prime example of a hostile workplace. I know they were not exclusive in their treatment... Sad to say, that's just how it was. Despite that, a few female superstars managed to prevail... not without heartache. *** 7/12/21
