Why do a check-in?

Hi! I've decided to at (or near) the end of the weeks during the year a thread to check in. Just to see what we've read that week and any topics we've fulfilled. Just a fun little way to see how everyone's doing and what we're all reading, especially if a really good book we're reading doesn't fit a topic! Please feel free to check in weekly :)
Also, I know this really helped me last year find books and keep myself accountable. It was also nice to review the books weekly I read and see how many I read and share with others!

Are you going to post a Week 3 check-in? I have a shelf name for my books -- 2021 popsugar reading challenge. Should I also have a shelf briefly describing which book category it is in the challenge? I have a chart made out for myself with the description, title, author, and whether I own the book or not. Thanks!

Hi, yes I typically post the weekly check ins near the end of the week. And I think as long as you remember which category the books go to you don’t need another shelf. I know I printed off a copy of the printable list to keep track.
