Sunday check-in: Where are you? 2021
I've just moved to Dublin and I've met this guy think I might like. Only dark cloud on my horizon is this new virus everyone's talking about, I think it's called covid. There's rumours that we might all have to work homes ...... can't see that lasting!
Currently, I'm in Baha California with a god who is warring with his brother. I'm hoping this will be over soon, in more ways than one.
Just got a job as a housekeeper in Manhattan. I'm trying to seduce the husband so I can use it against the wife to get back at her for something I believe she did to my family years ago. I'm also on an island visiting a friend. The island feels magical to me and I've finally met people who can look me in the eye without trying to kill themself here, so that's good.
I'm on a pirate ship as a 'captive' trying to steal a very important map. I worry that I'm in an enemies-to-lovers romance because the cocky, infuriating first mate is attractive.
I'm at a quilt retreat for real this weekend, so I had to temporarily leave Kentucky behind for the time being while I dream of playing chess in Russia. Later tonight, I'll start a new story on ebook and head to Louisana on the run, I think.
I spent my Sunday with some post covid vax muscle pains in front of the fire in Gjirokaster, Albania in the middle of WWII as a boy around 8 years old is my guess. Not a bad way to spend a rainy Sunday really.
I'm all over the place! I just spent some time down the end of Needless Street (Oregon, I think??). There is strange stuff happening here. I am now heading to Colorado. My sister disappeared and her 14-year old son, whom I'd never met, showed up at my house. We are searching for her before before her dealer can take what she owes him from us.
Later tonight I will be heading back to Wile Isle. I just found out I am a witch and am trying to learn how to control my power in order to help my cousins break a curse on the island.
I'm a 4-year old boy with Japanese heritage living in California and my family was moved to a relocation camp in Arkansas. From my young eyes, this was an adventure.
I am in a small town in Maine that really celebrates Fall and the Halloween season. I work in a bakery with my grandmother and we have a “knack” with special ingredients. I might leave there soon though. There isn’t enough here to keep me interested.I will be heading over to Three Pines again to continue that adventure.
I am in a ghost town (for lack of better name) but there is something in there. Run... it is after me....
I'm in a fantasy world with un-spellable names. There are times I despair of audio!I'm also in City by the Sea in India :-)
I'm spending my last pages in Barcelona, and later I will probably land in Madagascar (how cool is that!).
I'm an assassin in a fantasy world trying to win my freedom from hard labor imprisonment by winning challenges.
Margo wrote: "I'm in a fantasy world with un-spellable names. There are times I despair of audio!..."lol - With print you can spell the names, with audio you can pronounce them.

So true. And sums up so many conversations in this house. "Who?!?"
Sandra wrote: "I'm spending my last pages in Barcelona, and later I will probably land in Madagascar (how cool is that!)."Nice! What are you reading that's set there?
Rusalka wrote: "Nice! What are you reading that's set there?"I'll start Return to the Enchanted Island and use it for the month challenge. It is also perfect for my One country, One book personal challenge.
Actually it was a free book for Amazon World Book Week, last year or the year before, at least for the US. Maybe some of you have it. Keep it in mind if you ever need a book set in Madagascar. It is fantasy, and it has 176 pages. Almost perfect. :)
I'm back in Victorian days being schooled on proper etiquette. I'm also in a library and a war zone just trying to stay alive at the moment.

Isn't that the truth!
I just left an old Catskills resort. My family decided it was too rundown to save. It’s heyday is over.I am now in 1937 China trying to save a special set of books from the Japanese bombing.
I'm in the Tri-Cities where I just rounded up some miniature zombie goats. They are so adorable.I'm also with Margo in the land-with-strange-names. A freaky creature just called me by my full name. How? At this point I should be wishing for a miniature zombie goat.
My ears have been in Manchuria, China in 1910. The plague is not over yet but I need a breather from it. My eyes are turning back to my Abbey in England. It is safer there.
My eyes are in Venice where I think I am being manipulated into... well, not quite sure what yet. My ears just landed in Baltimore. Struggling to recover from a divorce.
I'm flying all over today. For real, I'm flying to Edmonton. In my books I'll be headed to King Arthur's time in Britain. For my second book, I'm not going to be travelling since I'm staying in the Tri Cities now that we've eliminated those witches.
I am in the mountains of California. There is a strange rain outside…like something “alien”. People are acting strangely.
Oh... it's Sunday! I am headed back to the after life where I haven't quite decided to crossover yet.
Later this evening I will heading to my new (well, old, but new to me) farmhouse where the last owner left all his things behind including a Santa suit in the closet.
It's 1970 and I'm at Kent State in Ohio. There are National Guards here because of the trucker's strike. Students are getting uneasy on campus.
My ears are in Prague of 1599. I am trying to find a murderer. My eyes are over a fantasy North Pole, in a balloon, guided along by witches. I’m going to rescue my father.
I am now in Egypt working as a student archeologist. I have just stumbled upon a conspiracy to unearth the Hall of Records. I am in trouble and need help!
I'm still in India in City-by-the-Sea. It is so dirty. They're worms in my bathroom and flees in my bed *shuddering*
I'm in Camelot. We're on our way to Lionesse to get Guinevere.I'm also headed to Saskatchewan. I might end up in someone's basement. I'm not sure how long I'll stay there. May have to ditch.
I’m in Scotland. There is something so soothing about being among people I grew up with. I am getting ready for a September party.I am also in Washington State. Turns out there truly are Bigfoots out there and they are not friendly.
My eyes are about to land in Amsterdam in a quest to understand my personal and family history. My ears are trying to figure out my new patient. Can i get him to talk?
I'm in the small town of Bourne where my sisters and I have been dealing with the repercussions of being poisoned by a large company that poisoned the town's drinking water with their chemicals. I'm also in a small town in the mountains of North Carolina where I just bought an old farmhouse. It has turned out to be more work than I planned. I found an old Santa suit and some old pictures and notes that were left behind. I'm finding them interesting and have been curious about their stories.
I am in a fantasy world where dragons once lived and magic still exists. My small group of mercenaries has been traveling to a far part of our kingdom to try to help get rid of bandits from a neighboring country. We just spent the night on a haunted hilltop.
I've left Kent State. Also, I'm finished going between New York City and London.I'm back in NYC and Princeton, New Jersey. I'm a light, black-skinned, female librarian and I am passing as white. I'm making great acquisitions for the library and I bargain very well with my male counterparts.
I'm an artist living in NYC and I don't know what is real anymore. I woke up in a hospital after a car crash and I have been told that my life is not what I think it is.
Sounds like an interesting Sunday, Esther.I'm a woman in 1635 Jakarta (then known as Batavia) and just bought an elephant. But he drowned when we tried to get him on the boat.
