I figured with seeing all the activity in the group that this would be a good way to help keep me motivated. Hello all,

I’m Jayson. I have had goodreads for a while but haven’t had the time to really look into it. Now I do. I came across this group because I really want to get back into the classics and see what other people are saying about them. I am mostly into fiction of any genre and like to read historical nonfiction as well. I believe classic literature can be a time capsule and help us learn more about ourselves in relation to today’s age. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the titles I mention. Gonna try to read at least three classic books a year. Would read more, but I have to make room for other genres and my writing. But if I can, I will. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Welcome. I like your description of classic literature as a "time capsule". Recent books I have read that felt like time capsules are Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe and Twice-Told Tales by Nathaniel Hawthorne. I look forward to hearing more comments you make.
