I read Short & Tall Tales: Moose County Legends Collected By James Mackintosh Qwilleran by Lilian Jackson Braun - in the UK, it is helpfully published as 'Qwilleran's Short and Tall Tales'. I originally read it for the oxymoron prompt, but it was easier to find books for that prompt than this, so I moved it over!
