The above was a book I received from Secret Santa ( whatsapp group, not here ). May start it on Jan 1.

Jo Nesbo is good in building up the thriller and making it dark. But his book are highly templatised. It's the mystery equivalent of "The butler is the killer"
a) you need to read it in sequence (lot of spoilers for previous books)
b) By the time you come to Snowman (8th book) - you will know what the author is planning to do (and makes the entire police force seem like bunch of idiots).

@leena :D Okay. guess trying 1 book is harmless enough.

Try one of his standalone books. Macbeth (Hogarth Shakespere series) was good. He has written a couple of other books. If you like them, you can attempt the series.

Simple rules:
1. The photo should be of your current book, there could be a few other books in the frame or your book collection in the background.
2. Photos of ebooks in mobile/e-readers are also fine!
3. Please do not post photos of your book collections and libraries as sole purpose of showcasing them :D Nothing wrong in doing it, just not here.
This is not a photography contest, so do not worry about quality or good looking-ness of the photos.
Uploading images:
You can upload the images to https://imgbb.com/ and it will provide a HTML code for inserting the image. Copy that code and add it in your comment and the image will be displayed.
Since this is a public image hosting website, make sure your images do not contain any personal details or identifications.
I hope to find new books and editions in this thread. :)
