Cutting for Stone takes place in India , Ethiopia , and the US, plus it can be used for a title with mineral or rock....and it’s a great book, if you don’t mind a little “bleed” as there is a lot of discussion about surgical procedures.
I read What I Talk About When I Talk About Running by Haruki Murakami. The book is a memoir that follows the author's journey with long-distance running. He runs marathons and other races primarily in Japan, but also in various parts of the US, and Greece.
I have selected The Lady’s Guide to Petticoats and Piracy by Mackenzie Lee for this prompt. I very much enjoyed the first book in this series, The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue which would also be a good match for this category.
I read, and LOVED, When We Believed In Mermaids. It's set in the US and New Zealand. I loved the majority of this book but the ending felt abrupt.
I read Afropean: Notes from Black Europe by Johny Pitts. The British author visits Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, The Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, and Spain, examining black communities in those countries. Not as heavy as it sounds, and very interesting.
