Hi all.
I recently finished reading The Cobra Event by Richard Preston.

I thoroughly enjoyed the story of bio-terrorism, especially the scientific equipment and methods used in identifying such organisms.
I would love to find some books that have a similar theme.

Hi Carol.

It really is a great read.
Not only as a pandemic novel but as a detective thriller as well.
It goes into detail about viruses and pathogens, with real world technology and processes used in the study of such organisms.
Makes a nice change from all the zombie books that seem to be associated with viruses and pandemics.
