I am struggling to find interest in books this year. As an alternative, I have turned to audiobooks. Did you know it is a challenge to listen to books and do crossword puzzles at the same time? I am having a hard time focusing on one book at a time. This struggle to focus is caused by many personal and professional distractions. Ugh. I will carry on so get my 80 books completed. Reading what others have completed is inspiring. Thanks for that

I'm not surprised you are having difficulty focusing if listening to an audiobook and doing a crossword at the same time! I often play a game such as Solitaire on the iPad while listening to an audiobook but never attempt a crossword at the same time. I'm sure that would fry whatever brain cells I have left if i did that! However, I do Cryptic Crosswords and that takes all of my little grey cells and often need the help of my husband! Good luck with your reading challenge.
