Mary Jo: I agree, Since We Fell is stellar. I've read all of Dennis Lehane's books and hope someday we get another. I suppose he is still writing screen plays. Shutter Island is a love it or hate it book. I loved it!

The given day is the one I have to bought it at a library sale. I'll get to read it one of these days.

The Given Day is a doorstopper but so interesting I enjoyed every minute of it. And like Ann, I too loved Shutter Island. But others on this board hated it. Can't wait to hear which side you fall on!

Well done, Donnajo! You definitely finished early this year. I too have tons of books in my backlog, including audio as well as print, which is good since the older I get the less time I seem to have to sit and read. And I'm a sucker for sales, so between Audible and Chirp I end up with hundreds of books I've purchased just because they were on sale! Although these days I generally check them out on GR before buying, which reduces the number of true duds - but also adds more because I read enthusiastic reviews by others!

Thanks. I’m switching my list up in 2022. I might do my owned hardcovers for top section. I never seem to pick those and I have a lot less of those plus getting those read will give me more room on bookcase for pbs and trades from other places not on shelves yet.
