ahh, it's okay! review ratio is (# of arc reviews you've written)/(# of arc's you've been approved for). it's just a percentage that publishers are able to access to show how many arc's you've reviewed. ideally, it should be at least 80% (mine's like 30 lmfao), because then publishers are more likely to accept your requests. hope this helps :D
Back to the book world for the first time in forever, so what is advanced reader copies? I know I’m slow lol
Carina wrote: "Back to the book world for the first time in forever, so what is advanced reader copies? I know I’m slow lol"early copies of books before they're released, sent out either physically or online for reviewers :) and you're fine, haha

there are certain websites
like
Netgalley and Booksirens
that you make an account and in exchange for your honest review they give you an ebook that hasn't came out/just came out.

Hey guys! So I'm trying to get some ARCs on NetGalley and I was able to get my hands on one (yay!), but when I try to download the book, I can't view it. And now it's telling me I need to install the app to view the book, or have a Kindle. Well L for me, I don't really have a place on my phone for another app, and I don't have a Kindle. Is there any other way for me to view the file?

They're protected files that expire after a month, that's why you need the programs to open them. If you can't finish it in a month you can go and download it again from Netgalley and you have another month.
