so, after a very long morning filled with adobe chat support and loads of downloading and redownloading and authrorising and reauthorising ade, i finally have my copy of The Wild Ones by Nafiza Azad (I was approved for a blog tour!!)
ade tip of the day/week/whatever: if you get an E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS error in ade, log out form everywhere else (if you have other devices on which you're not using it, don't log out form where you are unless you're sure you'll be able to reauthorise there) and contact chat support to quote "reset your activation count", now you'll have 6 more tries and lesser time wasted than me.
apparentlt you can install ade on as many devices as you want, sign in on only two at a time and use only 1 at a time.

Like before downloading a book on ade, we have to confirm that it us us and blah blah and only then we can use it on multiple devices
