In NetGalley, what should I put when it asks me for my "company" when I'm signing up?

have you already told Netgalley what genres you like? if you picked YA for example, on your dashboard, they'd show you YA books you could request.

Maple wrote: "I’m not sure...If you want, you can text me a screenshot and I’ll try to help!"Okie! If the genre request doesn't work then I will

keep it short, include your goodreads/blog stats, what genres you read/review, links to where you post/promote books, and any other information that would helpful for publishers :)
lezzie ~ spread the red! wrote: "Can someone help me navigate where to find ARC books? Cos the ones I'm looking at aren't ARCs"go to the find titles tab, you can see arc's that were added recently, being requested by many people, by genre, etc
Your bio should be-~Your goodreads followers and friend count( make sure to update it regularly)
~Where you mainly review (goodreads, a blog, etc.)
~If you mod any big goodreads clubs you can mention that ( include a link)
~What you mainly read and review (genres)
Don’t put casual stuff on there. Keep it more professional, it’s sadly not as fun as a goodreads bio.
but when i try to click on it, a message saying "License integrity: License is out of date (check start and end date)."
has this happened to anyone else?? it's never happened to me before and i'm not sure why it's happening now because there's still time before it expires >:(
ugh that sounds so frustrating. I use ADE, not the app, but are you able to read the book on your computer or laptop?
alas, it was archived a while ago; i'm reading some old arc's to catch up on reviews. also, it's on my phone because i run into a lot of issues with ade on my laptop and can't download shelf on there
If I have approved kindle@netgalley.com to send books, and told netgalley what account to send books to, will the book just show up on the homepage of the kindle app, or is there something else that I have to do ?
i think it should work, but i'm not sure; it might only work for kindle devices and not the app. i would definitely say to try it out though; i don't know for certain because i don't use either, sorry :/
I KNOWWWHelp sections of all apps are pointless
why don’t help sections just say ‘it’s hopeless you dum dum’...

yup, arc's are free. the point of them is to promote them/provide insight for the author and publisher
Maple wrote: "as far as I know, they are free! Some ARCs are physical, but the ones from netgalley are digital."and edelweiss, but we don't talk about that one lmao
lezzie ~ spread the red! wrote: "oh nooooooo D: where do i find physical ARCs? Does anyone know?"
contact the publisher, but you can look at your local library :D
