you have to get an app that can support the acsm file type, then download it to access it.

You could link you NetGalley account with your Kindle email and read it on Kindle for your computer

You can download and install ADE (Adobe Digital Editions) on your computer, unless it's an Social protected DRM (Digital Rights Management) file, in which case it'll open without ADE, but will be embedded with your social details given to Netgalley, like name and email id to prevent theft.

So remember a couple days ago, when I thought my requests were declined? Well...turns out that I was just being dumb and not navigating NetGalley properly lmao. So the requests are actually pending, not declined.

So how long will a request be in the pending stage? not me being impatient

I still have books pending from when I requested them on April 23 sooooo there is no saying how long the'll keep you there, sometimes I get accepted within the hour and sometime after a week or so and sometimes never :(

Also Kensington Books has declined me every single time I request books (around 4 times now) so I'll probably never request from them ever again 😭

yes, I have, and I'm pretty sure it affects the feedback ratio. I opted for that option once, and my ratio dropped, so I'd recommend not clicking that unless you really don't want to ride a review of that title.

yeah, that request button was nearly the death of my Netgalley account. that's why I like Edelweiss; you have to give an explanation as to why you want to request a title, and it's not only thought-provoking, but also gives the publisher insight on my intentions for reading/reviewing that title.
