don't worry, the strategy I've worked out is that I'm anyway not going to get most of the good popular stuff, so find the hidden gems, take the read now books, and request stuff that has less cover likes and reviews. But don't just do this, request good stuff by well known authors too, but just don't completely expect that you'll get it?

about the downloading, i just split my downloads between my phone and my laptop, and my phone itself has a lot of space because i keep deleting stuffi don't need. including old books, useless phtos, etc etc

it is. especially when unarchived books that i haven't gotten a chance to download or read because i'm aware of other books that have a set archive date get randomly archived by publishers >:(((

the latter is irritating, and actually the reason i lost that book...
i then went and downloaded every other book without an archive date, and am reviewing them according to their publish date

that's really smart. i actually used to look at publishing date rather than archive date at first, which was such a rookie mistake sfdkjsflksfdjklsjd. i didn't realize that archive dates aren't always publishing dates lmaooo
