They've denied every. single. book.
Do they have something against???
UGHHHHHH
I used to have a %100 ratio! Because I only had one book- But now I have %50, I'm just happy got an acceptance!
I haven't started my two Edelweiss books oops
Mel wrote: "I have 0% But I have two books so it’s not that bad"

Brooke wrote: "I've sent four publishers(I think) requests today!!"like real emails, or just Netgalley requests?
Emails!!! And then as soon as I hit send, on every one I remember another book I wanted to request smh
Brooke wrote: "Emails!!! And then as soon as I hit send, on every one I remember another book I wanted to request smh"I don't have the gut to email a publisher for a copy. maybe I'll do that in the future, but definitely not soon because I have a good amount of ARCs to read.
brooke, when you email publishers do you request digital or physical copies? and how often do you get accepted? congrats on getting approved!! :D
You just say you're requestimg a copy, not what format. You do send them your address with a note like: Just in case, here's my addressI have only gotten one response saying that the publisher is looking at my request.
Sometimes publishers don't reply and a book just shows up in the mail because they don't have time to respond
Make sure to send your physical address, not P.O. box first, then P.O. if they request it!
I'll link my advice post in a bit :)
Brooke wrote: "I just got accepted for Malice!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhhhh an LGBT+ retelling!!!!!!!"ahhh congrats!! i hope it's good!

i do it kind of differently. i say that i accept both formats (ebook and physical). i also add my stats (followers on all social platforms), and they almost always get back to me!

YAS THANK U SO MUCH 🥺
A quick arc/bookstagram question: it is weird to post reviews for arc books that have not been published yet on my bookstagram? Is this considered OK when it comes to advance copies? Or should I just wait until the book is published to post about them? Thanks!
Manni-You should definitely post it as soon as you have written the review! Then, on the publishing day, wish the book a happy book birthday!

soooooo i thought "oooo! i want to try to get a arc thingy' so i was wonderingit says that you have to be over 18 to get netgalley. but im not over 18. so can i still get it?
and also how do you find books and request them on edleweiss. and do you have to be over 18 to get that too? it never asked for my age or anything so im assuming its ok

review ratios on netgalley is basically how many reviews you wrote out of all your accepted arcs. im trying to get back to 100% but always end up requesting more... that's why it's not really good to impulsively request lol
