I have requested 20 books, been accepted for 2, declined for 17, and am impatiently waiting for a response to 1 on Edelweiss.

With NetGalley, you can look up the title of the book you would like to request! It asks you why you would like to request it or it says that it's no longer for request. NetGalley also has a 'wishlist' which is when publishers can 'grant' your request. Sometimes NetGalley just doesn't have the title you want. You can also go into the 'Read Now' section and you can automatically download those. There are also the very rare auto-approvals that is when your request is automatically approved.
I don't think that you can find books that way, its just that when a publisher gets to know your reading tastes and how often you actually finish the books they give you so they automatically approve your requests.
yeah, Brookie's right. and it's pretty likely that you'll get declined for some books, btu that's okay because you can come over here and complain about it. they always say it's nothing "personal", but it still bums me out. anyway, I just wanted to tell Mel and Maddie that.

Mel you can look at books that are auto-approved! Go to the "read now" section at the left sidebar. I might be talking about the wrong thing but I think that's what it is
