I chose this book because I thought I might learn something interesting and useful. Sadly only the experiments described relating to corvid cognition were remotely new and not already in courses I teach. It is probably far more interesting to someone who doesn't teach biology and psychology and who hasn't already tried to keep up-to-date on research. I kept hoping so I finished it but certainly slowed down after the first chapter. Not badly written and not terrible just not what I expected.
