Let's get those nominations started. Looking for 5 nominations. For the month of February, please nominate a book by an author you have NEVER read before. This should be fun!!

What a fun idea, Ann!! 😃 I'll nominate The Delusion: We All Have Our Demons.

Elisabeth aka Elsie(Taylor's version) | 132 comments I’ll nominate The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern

I've been wanting to read that! And its one that is actually at my library for once 😂

Mia | 133 comments Also, I'll nominate Dust :)
Being new-ish, I couldn't find much on if its clean or not. This is what I could find:

Content: Magic, mild violence, and some name calling. DUST does include some “dark” moments for a character (however, they’re not super dark and light/truth prevails).

Message/theme: The message and themes are positive, deep and beautiful.

Yes, I know of that author and I would assume her books are clean. It looks really good!! 😃

My sister said this was good but I have not read it yet.

sumayyah (sumayyaha) I'd like to nominate Ship Breaker by Paolo Bacigalupi
It seems kinda interesting to me and reminds be of a book trilogy so I'm hoping for the best.

Here's what a reviewer said on the content:
"I teach 8th grade and this is certainly appropriate for 8th graders. I don't remember any foul language at all, there's only one kiss and a hug, but there's plenty of violence and drug use. There's one scene where some teenagers drink a little and one parent figure is heavily addicted to drugs. All that said, I'd encourage teens to read it and hope to teach it in my class someday."

I don't know! Can it top Jennifer Nielsen?? 😂

message 14: by Greyden (new)

Greyden Derr | 9 comments I will nominate The Mistborn Trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. The fantastic reviews and magical world caught my eye. Also I got it for my birthday so that’s convenient. You’d have to look into it because I don’t know what language or scenes are in it.

message 15: by Cassia (new)

Cassia (cassia_serene) | 14 comments People keep reccomending that I read The Glimpse by Claire Merle and its supposed to be quite good?

Nominations are closed. We have more than 5 books, I have included all books in poll.

It was really hard this month as most books had something that our group wouldn't consider as clean. However, one didn't seem worse than others. So, I have provided by best interpretations of what I found.

Please see the comment in the voting poll. If the book isn't mentioned, then I considered it a CLEAN read. Please review on your own the books, ratings, and content, to decide if this book if for you.
