Collette's turn this week and it's a return to the hairy metal type stuff with Swedish rockers, Europe.

They have been around since 1979, and they are still going to this day. I know this because my younger brother went to see them live last year. Wiki lists 11 studio albums, although I would guess that most us (myself included) would be hard pressed to name more than one song off the top of our heads.

Agreed Collette, "Out of This World" is my favourite. Not a band I listen to a lot these days, but I liked them back in the 80s. Saw them at the Apollo in Manchester in 1989, supported by the equally impressive Dare. Always remembered Kee Marcello performing "Flight of the the Bumble Bee" and it was mesmeric.

A quick check shows that Lez has gone and discounted the point that Brassy gave to The Final Countdown, meaning that we have sort of a tie for first place. But, as Let The Good Times Rock has two full pointers to The Final Countdown's one, that means that the final gold gong of the year goes to Jemma, leaving the silver for Sera69. Val claims the bronze for Carrie.
