Sean had to think fast and stay ahead of what was happening. That is one of his strengths. He does his best work under pressure. Lucy has a marvelous analytical brain and that is her strength. With enough information she can figure anything out. I think Lucy's trust in Sean was rewarded and Sean knows that no matter what, Lucy loves and trusts him.
Well said, Anita.
I believe Sean was blown away at Lucy’s understanding and acceptance of what he’d done at Stanford. She even understood why he kept that and Paxton’s blackmail secret. For the first time, somebody believed in him. I was also really proud of Lucy when she didn’t react to those pictures of Sean and Skye that Deanna showed her, which was downright mean. She trusts Sean that much.
These two are going to make it.

Now that Sean has come clean with Lucy I think they will be a stronger unit. Neither of them are keeping secrets now, we think. I agree, Jonetta. Lucy made me proud in this book. She trusted and believed Sean and didn't react to the picture. She kept her head during the whole thing and helped him out, no questions asked.
I was proud of Lucy too. She didn't run to New York to try and save Sean. She stayed put and used her skills to figure it all out.
I agree with everyone. So happy that Lucy didn't react to the picture of Sean and Skye. Also happy that she didn't follow Sean to New York. I also loved that she accepted Sean's explanation of his past without any problem.
