Deanna was really out of line to approach Lucy and try to intimidate her. Lucy did the right thing in reporting her, but her supervisor didn't want to believe a veteran agent was up to no good. Alarm bells should have most definitely been sounding.
Lucy’s boss, Lynda O’Neal, is a bureau chief. She knew right away that Deanna’s questioning was out of line in a big way. She should have picked up the phone and called her counterpart for clarity. Deanna was unbalanced and shows up without notice? They don’t operate that way.
Deanna's should never have gone to see Lucy and it should have been reported to Deanna's supervisor and handled. The way she threatened Lucy with the information she had obtained should have taken Deanna off the streets and put her at a desk until resolved.
I was actually surprised that Lynda O'Neal didn't call Torres about the whole situation. She knew Deanna was out of line and should have handled it.
I actually thought that Lynda did good in handling Deanna. She wouldn't let Deanna question Lucy alone and stuck up for Lucy. Should she have followed up? Probably.
