There was no way Lucy would have ever gotten a fair and unbiased panel, no matter who sat on it. Juan Martinez didn't like that his viewpoint was overruled and he deserves to be punished for, first taking notes and second sharing them with anyone. I think he should be banished to Alaska where he can commune with the caribou.
This was inexcusable, IMO. Lucy’s file is sealed and these people think it’s okay to share the worst time of her life with others? I’m with you, Anita. Martinez should be sent to the wilderness rather than be fired. Give him some reflection time.
And, I have to question the conclusions he and Meredith reached...unstable? Obsessed? She’s never done anything to warrant those conclusions. Yes, she emptied her gun into her rapist but give me a break. Who wouldn’t in those circumstances?

Juan Martinez was in the wrong for sharing that information and should be held accountable for it. I'm on the fence still about their assessment of Lucy and the decision they made that was overruled. Lucy still has many issues that she needs to work on and I'm hoping that it doesn't backfire on those who stood up for her.
Lucy is always going to "have issues". I would like to meet someone who went through what she did and doesn't.
I can understand Juan and Meredith being upset that they were overruled in their assessment of Lucy. She was still having problems freezing up when she talked to the panel about becoming an FBI candidate. That could be a big problem for the FBI. If I were them, I'd be thinking why did they even bother bringing her before the panel? She's going to get in anyway.I do think Martinez should be punished for giving his notes to anyone. He and Meredith were both told not to talk about the panel.
Juan and Meredith had other avenues they could have pursued. They didn’t even know about her panic attacks and diagnosed her as having an obsession. Both of them could have requested that they have an opportunity to meet with Hans. They chose to grumble about it and share secrets with others. It was unprofessional and dangerous.
A couple of months ago, we read where Lucy was having problems with one of the teachers at Quantico. I don't remember his name. If I remember correctly, that guy also had information about Lucy's panels and the fact that Hans had intervened. It sounds like the FBI should be looking into their panels systems. I don't know if there are new people on the panel each time or just a rotating group, but they seem to have a leak.
I remembered that, too. He wasn’t on the panel but another member shared the info. Can’t recall the name.
I agree with everyone. The people on the panel all need reprimands. It is like HR sharing confidential information. Let's face it, no matter what you do there will be times that your opinion/vote will be overridden higher up the chain of command. You have to shake it off and move on. If you don't know how to keep you mouth zipped for something like this, how can you hold information on an OP. I don't think any of these panel members should be on future panels. Many people go into law enforcement after a criminal act hits them or someone close. It doesn't mean that they won't do their job.
