Sean becomes suspicious of Evan Weller, one of Colton’s team members, when he encounters a more complex security schematic during their operation but Colton seemed to be completely comfortable with him. Were you or was it too soon to know?

[Anita]

I was like Sean: Trust no one. Evan was someone Sean was unsure of so I was too.

[Jonetta]

I found it sketchy that the guy didn’t know it was an RCK security system. Evan was on my watch list through the entire book. I trusted Sean’s instincts and if he wasn’t comfortable, neither was I.

[Melissa]

Evan made me nervous, but I'm not sure if it was because Sean had doubts about him or that I really didn't trust him. Colton seemed to trust him and he had been a part of the team for awhile, so I blew it off.
I didn't believe for a minute that Evan didn't know about the RCK security system.

[Anita]

The things that made me doubt it was Evan were the fact that he had been with the team for awhile. After Sean joined and Skyler went after him, I thought it was strange she seemed to abandon Evan.

[Robin]

I was very wary of Evan, especially after he didn't warn Sean that the security was the RCK system. I was also suspicious of Colton. I wondered if he was out for revenge against Sean for leaving him 10 years ago.

[Anita]

Colton definitely had some secrets from the group, like exactly who their client was and what he wanted them to get.

[Jonetta]

Colton ended up having an ulterior motive but a somewhat altruistic one. It almost got him killed. Robin, I also wondered if he was out to get Sean, too.

[Sharon]

I agree with you Robin. I was suspicious of Evan, but I wondered if Colton was in it with him. There is no way that it was a surprise to either of them that it was an RCK security system. It started to make me nervous that they were going to trap Sean for Paxton.

[Anita]

I hadn't thought about that possibility.
