Dave (davecenker) | 14 comments I have recently discovered the ability to create series in Goodreads, after stumbling across one created by a fellow author. After reviewing the help section, I understand that I will need to have a (wonderfully generous) Goodreads librarian help me with this request ;)

This would be called the "Pigeon Grove Series" and the books, in order, are as follows:

Book 1: Fly Away Home (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...)
Book 2: Between the Lines (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...)
Book 3: Splendid Chaos (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...)

If there is any other information you need, please let me know, and many thanks for the help in fulfilling this request :)

Lieke | 4925 comments Done, but Fly Away Home is a novella and therefore numbered 0.5.

Are all the ISBN's correct? The ebook numbers are not ISBN13's.

Dave (davecenker) | 14 comments Thanks for your help, and so quickly! The ISBN numbers for each version should be correct, as I've made sure they align with the identification numbers for the retailer where they are published.

EDIT: Some, not all
The ones in the book records here are not ISBNs, but they are the store-specific identifiers. You may have other editions import that have ISBN numbers instead (just for your information).

Thanks, Emily... does that mean I should check with all retailers where I provide each e-book for sale and create a new "edition" for it, if it has a separate identification/ISBN number? Most retailers provide their own unique ISBN and/or ID number when self-publishing.

I've always been curious how to add an addition and then have it show up with a specific store link in the "GET A COPY" section on the book detail page. Is there a resource you can point me to in order to learn more about how to accomplish this?

Emily | 17656 comments Your ISBNs start with 978.
Kobo starts with 123. Nook starts with 294. You are more than welcome to leave those on Goodreads. If an ebook with ISBN is available on Kobo/Google Play/Walmart/etc. then you can click that store from that specific edition and it will go there.

What I know has just been gleaned from my participation in the librarians group here, so if there is a question about any of the elements of the book record feel free to ask.
