asif khan | 11 comments This is really bugging me. I could have sworn this was a plot in one of the New York Trilogy novels but the plot descriptions make no mention.

A child is raised in isolation with no external stimulus even sound, by a man who wants to see the effects of... [perhaps culture or society]. I have an image in my mind of the child having completely white hair or the man or the child being albino.

It's possibly another of his works, or maybe some other author.

Please help!
