Chook's Challenge

I'm giving myself two challenges for 2021. I know ambitious but I've put off "me" reading time for too long.

• 1st Challenge: Read all books of my favourite Aussie Author, Matthew Reilly.
• 2nd Challenge: Get as far as I can with Craig Alanson's Series, Expeditionary Force. I have read the first book in this series this month & it got me hooked, so by the end of the year I really want to be stuck into it.

@Krystal I know, I can never put his fast paced books down when I start reading. I've had many nights where I've caught myself reading his books until 2 or 3am because I just have to know what happens next.

Thanks everyone. I've kinda stuck it to myself even more & I'm also doing the Goodreads personal challenge too but I'm thinking I'll keep moving the goal posts as I go along with that one. I'm really enjoying getting back into reading this year so far.

Just finished & enjoyed Temple (stand-a-lone). Now starting book II in the Jack West Jr series, The six sacred stones. I'm enjoying the historical references in this series. My first time reading this series.

3rd book down, about to start my 4th.

The 3rd Jack West Jr novel, The Five Greatest Warriors.

pretty proud with 3 books completed in 2 months, in my challenge. This is pretty damn good for me considering my extremely busy schedule as a firefighter, rescuer & part-time job on the side, plus normal family duties.

Going great guns with this challenge. :D

I just pre-ordered the New Matthew Reilly novel, which will be the final in his Jack West Jr series. Amazon Aus has it. I kinda can't wait but it will be bitter sweet as we will say goodbye to JW.

Who else is getting this novel, that's a MR fan?
