2021 - Where Do We Go From Here?

It has been a harrowing 2020 and hopefully we will start to see the light as 2021 comes. Everything is different from when I was creating folders for 2020 but one thing remains the same: We've got a great group of readers here and our love for reading has helped us get through 2020.

Welcome and welcome back! No pressure to make it to 75 books, just have fun and join in the conversations.

Start by making a topic in the 2021 Goodreads Challenge folder.

(Just a note: leave the "This topic is about" field BLANK! Your topic is for all your books read throughout the year, not any particular book or author.)

We'll be having random Readathons throughout the year and will vote on the weekends to hold them. We've brought back the ABC Challenge and the Read What You Own Challenge!

Nope! I am so not prepared for 2022! I keep thinking I have way more time to get in the books I want to before 2022 and like, nope, only 2 weeks. lol

I finally joined the two Mount TBR groups here on GR, one for owned books and one for borrowed, so yes, I've been thinking about 2022. I have some tentative books planned for each, and wondering what overall number I should aim for here, and for the GR challenge (I count some books here that I don't categorize as "read" on my shelves so the numbers are different every year... and yes I know I make things way harder than they need to be. 🤷‍♀️)

I’ve figured out a cross between the ABC Challenge and the RYS Challenge I’m excited to try next year.

So not ready for 2022! I’m so bummed I’m not going to make my goal this year. I’m trying so hard but I think I’m going to be about 20 books short.

I’m literally trying my hardest to finish!!! I know it’s crazy, but my little type A heart does not like to come up short. I downloaded a ton of audio under 5 hours. It’s a long shot that I will make it but nothing like a good challenge to finish out the year!
