Some books in series in wrong language, can't correct

So if you go to this list you'll notice that vol 9 is the Japanese, not the English, edition:

I keep trying to change it to English edition, but when I do a search with the English edition's isbn, it brings up the Japanese version, which has a different isbn. Both entries have the correct isbn, so I don't understand why or how the search is bringing up the wrong edition. Can a smarter librarian help me fix it?

Edit: I thought I changed vol 10 to the English Edition but it's still the Spanish edition. And vol 8 is also in Japanese. My changes aren't doing anything to correct the problem.

All language editions of a book are combined, the edition that shows on the series page is the most popular edition. This can only be changed by the author.
