It can be fiction or non-fiction, so long as the setting is a library!

The Library of the Unwritten - A.J. Hackwith
The Midnight Library - Matt Haig
Escape from Mr. Lemonchello's Library - Chris Grabenstein (middle grade)
Sorcery of Thorns - Margaret Rogerson

Amber | 22 comments Bookish and the Beast by Ashley Poston. Completed 3 Apr 2021.

Third in the Once Upon a Con trilogy and based on the Beauty and the Beast story, a geeky fangirl meets a handsome stranger at a sci-fi con but leaves without finding out his name. Then she meets him again in her hometown, where he has been banished for his wild behaviour, but finds out he is actually the star of one of her favourite sci-fi movies and they are forced to work together on setting up a private library of old science fiction books. Sparks fly and trust is gained and lost. Will Rosie and Vance find their happy ending?

Kirsten 'The Midnight Library' by Matt Haig

Nikki (mnnikki) | 164 comments I had intended to read The Midnight Library but somewhere I stumbled upon The Strange Library by Haruki Murakami. I liked that it was written by a Japanese author so that kept with my goal of reading 75% or more books by non-white authors for this years challenge. Also, it's an interesting format and a short book despite how strange it was and how long I will probably be thinking about it!
