Amazon's description says that Book 1 has now been split in 2: if this is the case we cannot renumber the series, we will need to make two new entries for Book1-Part1 and Book1-Part2 and your initial book 1 will then be Book 1-2.Let me know if I misunderstood what is happening, otherwise I will do so.
For now can you just add the new covers to Books 2-4?
I updated Book 3, book 4 was already as it is on Amazon. I adding book 2 as described in message #4 above then -> for me to do so, was the last update of the cover of book one only for Book 1 Part 1 or was it also updated before you split it?
The cover for Book 1 is fine. Can you add a cover for Like A Broken Record?
Oh and Like A Broken Record is now Book 2. It's completely separate so is there still no way it can be added?

So to re-explain a bit more clearly:
What was Book#1 is now Book#1-2
I left a note on what is now Book#1 and Book#2 to explain that they are the result of splitting the Kindle edition of what was Book#1 (with a link to that original Kindle edition)
-> that should avoid confusion.
As best as I can tell, only the Kindle edition has been split, not the paperback edition.
The paperback edition has been split as well, but they are not available yet. Can you fix the issue where The Beat Goes on is still being shown as Book 3 and update the cover?

As the author, you have the ability to change which edition of the book is the default, i.e. the one which will show on your author profile, in non-ISBN-specific searches, etc.

Oh sorry I meant that The Beat Goes On is being shown as Book 2. It is now Book 3. And thank you for all of your help.
Oh, I see what you meant for the numbering: corrected!Please do not combine Book#1 and Book#1-2, they are meant to be two different entries. Have a look at the series as it appear right now and at the notes I left on Book#1 and Book#2, it should help understand how this works.
