Double Dips

I don't double dip myself, but I take lots of planning notes, and I love books like this, that fit multiple prompts!

The one I was thinking of today, is The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. I'm going to read it for a book about forgetting. It also takes place across continents, and is about an artist (could even be a dream job), and it's magical realism. If you share a zodiac sign (Cancer) with the author, V.E. Schwab, there would be that, too!

Watership Down is apparently a song title too. And if you're a Taurus you can double dip. I think it would also qualify for "a book set mostly or entirely outdoors"

I am a Taurus and will check on this book. Thanks. I was planning to do Shakespeare William but may change.

A Place Called Winter by Patrick Gale is set in multiple countries, is about a do-over and I'd possibly say it was mainly set outside too (at least the section in Canada is).

Why I'm No Longer Talking to White People About Race is on BLM reading lists and is a social justice issue. It also has a B&W cover and Reni Eddo-Lodge is a blogger. 4 in one there.

Even though it's a new book, it could probably fit 'A book everyone seems to have read but you' , or A book you think your best friend would like or A book you have seen on someone's bookshelf. And I kinda feel that it would work for magic realism

I used The Song and the Silence by Yvette Johnson for #33. A book featuring three generations. #34 A book about a social justice issue.

I used Midnight Library by Matt Haig for a book about do-overs or fresh starts. I also used it for the advanced prompt a DNF book from your TBR lists. I didn't like the book. It took everything I had to stay with it. I pretty much never not complete a book once I start reading. For me to want to give up on any book means I really never want to read it.

I didn't care for Midnight Library either. So many people raved about it, so I thought it would be ok, but like you said, it was a chore to finish. :(

Personally, I don't double dip I think it ruins the "challenge" part of the challenge.

But, there are a lot of books that I am seeing that work in multiple places. One I already read is Kindred: A Graphic Novel Adaptation. I used it for a book in a different format but you could use it for afrofuturist as well and it might be easier/faster to get thru than Kindred which I notice a LOT of people using for an afrofuturist book.

I doubled dipped on the Advanced Prompts. I used The Third Man by Graham Greene for a book that has been on my TBR list the longest & the shortest book by pages. It has been on my list since 2/11/2015. It was 157 pages.
