Hello everyone, I thought it would be nice to have a chat going on for the last two weeks of December where everyone can just generally socialise, talk about anything they want, it can be about Christmas but it doesn't have to be. Share what are you doing for xmas this year, or maybe what else are you doing if you don't celebrate it. I think we could all do with a little positivity and fun to end a rollercoaster of 2020 lmao.

this christmas as usually i'll probably go to my grandma :) i usually end up eating too much but that's fine lol. every year she cooks some traditional romanian food.

for the past few days i've been listening to a christmas playlist that i made on spotify and i'm living for it. i love listening to christmas songs! my favourite songs are "last christmas", "all i want for christmas", "Santa Tell Me" and "Rockin around the Christmas Tree".

We are going to make a bunch of cookies on Friday and send them to a bunch of our family. On Christmas Eve our family does a little what we call “not-so-secret Santa” gift exchange! That’s one of my favorite things also for that thing I got my little brother and he got me , that was funny

Probably a little silly, but two of my favorite (somewhat off-color) Christmas songs are "Gothic Christmas" by Within Temptation, and "The Twelve Pains of Christmas" by Bob Rivers. I love a lot of more mainstream and traditional uplifting holiday songs too, sure, but I appreciate those two a lot. They're fun if you have a good sense of humor.

I know that I want the Lunar Chronicles series, but it's kinda expensive, so I don't know. Maybe some India inks and detail brushes. I keep trashing my old brushes accidentally lol
I got my sister a cool jacket--we went to Goodwill the other day, and we did this thing where we would tell the other person what we wanted and then conveniently look the other direction. It was hilarious. So, I recently got a leathery jacket with zippers and stuff (on sale) and the jacket my sister found was similar. When we went to show Mom, with my sister wearing the jacket, Mom looked up at the ceiling, as if asking the heavens why she must deal with two teen daughters at once. She then sent my sister off to find a mirror, turned to me and deadpanned, "You're horrible." Of course, being me, I responded, "I'm amazing, but I'll take that!" (She was joking, just in case the sarcasm didn't come across in text. Mom loves us very much, even though we can annoy her to no end XD) When My sister came back, she was still wearing the jacket and sort of hugging it/herself...? Anyway, she marches up, grinning, and says, "It's mine now." So yeah, I got it for her, and now Mom can roll her eyes at both of us (instead of just me!) when we leave the house wearing our jackets. 😆

Entertaining story! I totally get the feeling of trashing brushes, especially in oil paint.
