At the end, Amy had to step up and help save Charlie. What do you think it took for this young girl to follow through on the plan? How do you think this will help her as she recovers from the ordeal?

It seems that both girls are quite strong, but they wouldn't have been if they weren't there together. They drew strength from each other.

Agree Lynn. They were so close and it gave them strength. They worked as a team. Hopefully they can do the same thing as they heal from this horrendous experience.

Agree. The two girls helped each other through the ordeal.

Maybe because I listened to the story my perceptions of these two are different. Charlie emerged as the one who kept the two of them hopeful, doing things to not have Amy sink into her anxiety. Elizabeth and Stephen both felt she’d benefit from having Charlie with her, knowing she’d take care of her.

Charlie had to come up with the plan to get Amy out of there, having to talk her into it because she couldn’t do it herself. It took some prodding but Amy finally did exactly what Charlie told her to do.

I was shocked that Will was also at that location. For some reason or another, I thought he was somewhere else. It shocked me when he began chasing Amy.

That is the impression I had too. I didn't expect him to be at the same place where the girls were.

I think it was a bit of both. Charlie is definitely a savior but Amy also gave her strength by being Amy's savior and the one who takes care of her. When that scene was playing out I felt like Amy found the strength to face her anxiety and survive for Charlie.
