Personality::

Keto might seem like an innocent bubbly girl working at a normal aquarium to mortals, but she is more than that. Demigods who know her know not to mess with her, or she will kill you in some scary way. She is actually a pretty nerdy goddess, and being the mother of all sea monsters, she knows quite a lot about them and will recite odd facts about them randomly. She is also energetic and a bit vengeful. Keto is pretty heartless though, and doesn't care about others or anyone really at all; she's an evil goddess, what do you really expect from her?

History::

Keto was born the daughter of Pontus and Gaea. She gave birth to many powerful sea monsters, and her brother, Phorcys, was a sea God. Not much more was known about her in Greek Mythology. In the Second Olympian War, she was sided with Kronos. Since he lost, Keto and Phorcys had to go to Atlanta, Georgia. They ended up opening an exhibit there, were they would also invite in demigods as V.I.P. guests. Only V.I.P. meant Very Important Prisoner. One day, she trapped Percy Jackson and Frank Zhang. They got free, but she sent monsters after them. They struggled, but were still alive. Keto still is at Atlanta, but now also is at Camp Half Blood. Sometimes she is there for her few demigod children, but sometimes to attack.

Keto's father is Pontus, her mother is Gaea, her brother/husband is Phorcys (it's complicated, her children are many sea monsters, Euryale, Medusa, the Gray Sisters, Echindna, Steno, Ladon, and Skolopendra.

For the most part, Psyche can be compassionate and quite the humanitarian. The majority of the time her attitude towards life and all species is kindly and with equality. However, if she is in the company of someone she dislikes, she will approach them coldly and cruel nonchalance. Her loyalty lies within what she feels is right, not with the Council nor Gaea and her children, but with what her instincts tell her.

Whilst lying is not one of her best skills, she is very skilled in telling lies apart from the truth.

Despite being under her lover's shadow and considered a minor deity, her attitude toward it is almost non existent. Instead of craving for more power and worshippers, she's content with the statues that she's currently. Frankly, she doesn't care and prefers to spend the rest of her time with either her beloved spouse, Eros, or exploring the rest of the world or even lending a hand to demigods whom deserve it.

Psyche is very family oriented and likes to keep watch over both her demigod and immortal children, Hedone and Pothos, even if Pothos isn't really in her life, and keep watch of her previous life's family that had continued through her maternal cousins. Her love for Eros is still undying despite his adultery relationships with other women, as she herself often produces more children with mortals.

As both mortal and a deity, Psyche was gifted with extreme beauty and grace. In her past life, she was originally a princess and as she grew up, her beauty became prominent and many around the world rushed over to set their eyes on the so told beautiful maiden. Despite her being admired by many, she remained as a bachelorette. Often compared to Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, and admired by many, the goddess herself became jealous of Psyche and sent her son, Eros to poison the men's souls in order to kill their desire for the young princess.

However, upon her father being led to fear for her life as he was told by the Oracle of Apollo that she would be wedded by a hideous monster, Psyche was clothed in funeral attire and placed by a procession to the peak of a rocky crag, and in exposure. Zephyrus, an attendant of Eros, whisked her away from danger and into safety where she was allowed to make a home there.

She was then led into a room basked in darkness and impregnated by the so told monster that the oracle had warned her father, the king, about. After a while of her family wanting to see her, she is allowed to see them. Psyche's sister became envious of the fairy tale like life she had and coaxed her into sneaking up and seeing the being's face.

Following their warning of the news the oracle had foretold of the danger her child and herself were in by the beast himself, Psyche one night waited for the being to fall asleep and discover his true identity, then kill him in fear for both of their futures. Upon seeing his mesmerizing face, she was startled and accidentally wakes Eros from his sleep by the lamp's hot oil.

Eros flees and leaves her in their previous home, and she begins her search for her love. Her sisters discover of her secret husband's identity and attempt to replace her, only to die as they tried falling as she did and were allowed to die brutally. Psyche finds Demeter and is told that she has to serve Aphrodite herself. She experiences harsh treatment under her servitude to her and after ordered of another task, she attempted suicide and was saved.

On the last task, she went to the Underworld and was ordered to bring a box that held something Aphrodite desired. In fault of her curiosity, despite having been warned not to open it, she does so and falls into a deep sleep. Eros soon recovers from his injury accidentally inflicted by Psyche, he finds her and wakes her from her sleep after completing her task. Psyche was then turned into an immortal due to her undying love for Eros.
