Just completed #5 (dark academia) - Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. This was exactly what I needed after a few not-great books! Easy prose with a universe that is explained well without too much delay or endless explanations. Loved the characters and it has just the right amount of teen angst. Definitely worth reading! 5 stars

Big Friendship: How We Keep Each Other Close
The importance of friendship has been a constant throughout my life, but I just started yapping about it in the last 5 years. It was nice to a read a book confirming its importance/talking about rifts in friendships.

I think that depends on how strict you want to be for your challenge. We aren't super strict here, the point is really to enjoy reading and read more. :)

44. The book on your TBR list with the ugliest cover: The Privileges by Jonathan Dee : While there are some ugly book covers, I'm using this prompt as more of some critiques of the cover/story. I think the jewelry the woman is wearing is a bit GAUDY (which could easily be the pt based on the content) but I think there could've been a version of this cover that really communicated what the author was better. So, somewhat ugly to me.

The Little Old Lady Who Broke All the Rules (League of Pensioners #1) by Catharina Ingelman-Sundberg
Ugly cover not because of the older woman but because they went out of the way to make her look frumpy and the color of the book itself is kind of ugly
