T. | 700 comments Please Create the Scrolls of Eternity series by J. Morgan and add the books. I couldn't find either book, but that doesn't mean they aren't already on Goodreads. Sighs. Thank you very much!

If you aren't certain about which J. Morgan the author is, his page is here:

Field trips suck!

Well, normally they do. When a visit to the local museum includes, gunmen, Egyptian gods, and, oh yeah, superpowers, Patrick Hughes thinks his life could use a little more boring.

After accidently assuming the mantle of Horus, the Egyptian God of War, he is about to take Superhero 101 for extra credit. With the help of his substitute history teacher, who just so happens to be Anubis God of the Dead, Patrick takes a crash course in what it takes to be a hero.

Too bad time is running out. Sutekh the God of Chaos has his eye on taking over the world. Unless he gets the hang of being a superhero and quick, getting an F will be the least of Patrick's worries. Will Patrick's first test at being a superhero be his last, or will he become the hero he was born to be?

First day of school sucks, even if you are a superhero. Patrick hoped being Horus would change his luck. Instead, his school year can't get any worse. Anubis, his instructor in all things superhero, has disappeared. Norse myths attack him. His homeroom teacher is out to get him, and worse of all, he embarrasses himself in front of half the school.

Then, his wife shows up.

The Norse god Woden wants the planet earth. The only thing standing in his way is Horus, who happens to be the key to opening the doorway between Asgard and Earth. With the help of the daughter of the Celtic goddess of war and Horus' wife Hathor, Patrick must find a way to stop his family from paying the price for him becoming Horus, and the end of the world.

All in a day's work for the earth's only resident superhero.
