I read The Bookshop by Penelope Fitzgerald as I've always fancied owning one - like many readers, I imagine. I'm retired now, so would recommend a A Man Called Ove for anyone in that current 'job' or Grandmothers as I spend a lot of time being a gran..
I was planning to use Yoga Pant Nation by Laurie Gelman for this prompt as soon as the prompts were posted, and I was fortunate that I won an advanced reader copy through a Goodreads giveaway. It's the third in a series where the main character is a stay at home mom who gets volunteered (or is "volun-told" as she puts it) to do projects and fundraisers with her son's school. I used this for dream job.
I read The Lost for Words Bookshop. It was a charming book. The main character works in a book store.
Just finished The Maidens by Alex Michaelides where one of the main characters was a professor which is my current job.
