I planned to read this already in July and never had time to do that. How soon is your "now"?

Does anyone want to start Dogs of War? It's from the POV of a dog who's involved in a war and is trained to neutralize his master's 'enemies'. But the intelligent dog starts doubting the master's definition of enemies. The writer (Adrian Tchaikovsky!) apparently does a good job at portraying the ethics of near-future wars.
