This category is for books with multiple character narratives. You can find this writing technique across all genres. Some books may be written in first person, some in third person, or a mix of both.

This one has 3 different storylines (written by 3 different authors), each featuring a different high schooler in a small town in North Carolina during the worst snow storm in years.

Charmed by the Fox’s Heart by Aria Winter & Jade Waltz

I don’t usually care for romance books much but this was actually really good. Definitely classified as more of a romance fantasy. I really enjoyed it.

Ben Truong | 60 comments Completion Post:

Just finished reading: "Eleanor & Park" by Rainbow Rowell (★★★★★), it is a young adult, coming-of-age, contemporary romance centering on Half-Korean sophomore Park Sheridan and new girl Eleanor Douglas as they unsuccessfully try to stay in the shadow of high school and not to fall for each other.

Rowell's narrative is told in alternating segments as their love is believable and thrilling, but it isn't simple. Readers glimpse the swoon-inducing, often hilarious aspects of first love, as well as the contrast between Eleanor's survival of grim, abuse-plagued poverty and Park’s own imperfect but loving family life.

It was so, so gut-wrenching and chilling, and I think it helped me process a lot of my own emotions from that day. The Only Plane in the Sky An Oral History of 9/11 by Garrett M. Graff
