Combine tool not working

Hello,
I originally had these books under Stephanie Keyes, tried the pen name Gemma McKay and now would like to change them back to Stephanie Keyes. I created two new alternate cover versions, but I can't combine them with other versions or make them the primary.

Whenever I try to combine anything with the combine tool, the tool crashes and takes me back to the main page.

Lots of issues here:

1. The first author used on a book title is the primary author for that work through all subsequent publications of that edition.
Therefore, the 1st title in the series will maintain Stephanie Keyes as the primary author on all editions, and Gemma McKay will be the secondary author on the editions with that name on the cover.
The 2nd title in the series will maintain Gemma McKay as the primary author on all editions and Stephanie Keyes as the secondary author on the editions with that name on the cover.

2. Changing author names [or ISBN/ASIN or titles for that matter] on a record is against Goodreads policy, and is considered vandalizing the database. When there is a new edition, create a new record, and do not change valid editions.

3. Only the primary author can create Alternate Cover editions. If there is a new edition of a work, it is best to create it from the original work so you don't have to combine them after the fact.

I am not sure I have sorted out all editions, but its close.

That's fine in terms of both author names showing.

The only thing that I'm noticing now is that the cover for the Internship of Pippa Darling is the Gemma McKay version and not Stephanie Keyes. The Education of Uma Gallagher is correct.

I'm the author. These are just two different pen names that I've used in the past. I created a separate account for my Gemma McKay books, but am now streamlining.

The primary author can set the default edition to show in searches.

The Gemma McKay name will remain the primary author on that title.

Okay, but it shouldn’t because I originally published Pippa as Stephanie Keyes.

The primary author profile can set the default edition to show on your author page. Use these directions:

You will have to set the default edition of the 2nd book from the other profile.
