Fanna was a beta reader for my epic fantasy MS. First, I have yet to have a beta give me such detailed and comprehensive reviews. She was very responsive in her communication, and her feedback was clearly thought out. For my MS, she gave me very constructive and valuable feedback for each chapter. Obviously well versed in fantasy, she helped me immensely in navigating and avoiding some of the common pitfalls inherent to the genre as well as pointing out the strengths and weaknesses for each chapter. I especially enjoyed the little personal touches that she included such as her feelings (and POV) as a reader, discussion of tropes, and explaining potential problem areas. (Too wordy, too slow in development, character development ideas, etc)
I would find myself as excited as a kid in a candy shop for her reviews. She clearly put a lot of time and work into providing helpful feedback and I would definitely recommend her services.

I am extremely pleased with the feedback that I received from Fanna for my fantasy WIP. I highly recommend any writers to utilize her beta reading services. She was incredibly thorough and pinpointed exact parts and elements of my manuscript which she thought could use changes. I am very glad I sent her my work; her thoughts and insight have been invaluable.
While she looked at my story overall to make sure that what I was writing was flowing well, she also looked at each chapter individually and gave me recommendations based on enjoyment, writing style, characters, etc.
Something else which was very helpful: she pointed out specific instances where I forgot to italicize certain words, or where I forgot to remove others. More than just correcting typos and spelling errors, she payed attention to my word choice, which is a testament to how closely she regarded the manuscript.
She is very kind in giving helpful suggestions, and makes sure that what she is recommending is in line with the writer's view, which I really appreciated. The feedback was extensive and thorough, and I would certainly use her beta reading services again in the future, it would be a pleasure to have her read my entire manuscript.
Fanna beta read the first 5k words of my manuscript, and the feedback she gave was more than I could have asked for. First- she delivered her suggestions kindly, and as a person who can sometimes be sensitive to criticism, this meant a lot to me. She also went in depth into what worked, what didn't, and why, as well as how readers might react to the way certain scenes play out. This was especially helpful, as many of her suggestions were on parts of my manuscript that I had completely overlooked. I highly recommended her as a beta reader and I would definitely hire her for my later work.
Fanna is a great beta reader! She clearly understands the importance of story structure and character development. Every one of her critiques are useful. She was even able to pinpoint aspects that I'd hovered over and knew it didn't /feel/ right, and she was able to put into words what was lacking. She worked quickly and was very pleasant in all our correspondence. Will be recommending to all my writer friends!
Fanna reviewed the first three chapters (9.5k words) of my contemporary novel set in Singapore, with themes of betrayal, identity and friendship. She was amazingly fast, and provided sensitive insight, addressing (without prompting) concerns I had about a couple of aspects of the narrative.Simultaneously polite and direct, Fanna is an excellent reader. I may not be implementing every suggestion she made exactly as she proposed, but every point she made was valid, and will be addressed - both in the first three chapters and throughout the novel. In addition, she highlighted what worked well - and why, which is just as valuable.
As with all advice, I will be unpicking her comments over the next few days, for practical application, but everything she wrote feels sincere and rings true, which is rare indeed.
Fanna reviewed my novel and provided excellent feedback over my plot, setting, characters, and structure. Her insight into what my target audience may be thinking or like helped me a lot during the final revision, and allowed me to sprinkle in details that strengthened the scenes. All of her input was valid and made sense, and I would recommend her if you are looking for a quality and affordable beta reader. I plan on utilizing her services again with my second book.
Fanna gave me very concise and thorough feedback! She pointed out several weak points and places where my lore/backstory wasn't as clear as it could be and where my subplots weren't meshing with the main storyline. Overall she was useful and easy to work with.
This is the second time I’ve used Fanna as a beta reader, and I’ve been majorly impressed both times. I appreciate how you can request feedback to be focused on specific elements, which is great when you’re working on earlier drafts or don’t want to be overwhelmed by feedback that is too “big picture” too soon.
