I’m new to discord but I would love that because I can’t always get messages on here for some reason so discord would be easier to make it able for me to participate & keep up with things.

Discord is a free website/app used for messaging :)

Chiara - I would assume that it would replace the chat here, but you can be as active as you would normally be here, over in the Discord chat instead.

I was talking about devices and possibilities to access Discord, but that is totally a "me thing".
I love the idea anyway and I'll try and be as active as I can manage.

Discord sounds great! It would definitely be easier to keep up to date with what's going on for me. I use Discord daily anyway.
For anyone worried about being able to access Discord, there is an app for phones and tablets, there is a desktop software for both windows and mac and even linux - and if you don't want to download the program, they have a web browser option!

Discord is so much better than GR groups, pleased to see this being set up. Thanks!
12/6 Update:I've started making the server and have the basics down. Since Goodreads' notification/messaging system isn't that intuitive, I've just decided to include channels for TBRs and recommendations as well as group/buddy reading information. However, you don't have to use that, since Goodreads does a better job with finding and linking books.

12/6 Update:
I've started making the server and have the basics down. Since Goodreads' notification/messaging system isn't that intuitive, I've just decided to include channels for TBRs and recommendations as well as group/buddy reading information. However, you don't have to use that, since Goodreads does a better job with finding and linking books.

I'm not sure if this is allowed, but I saw there were a few people who were interested in making a Discord server for Buzzwordathon. It'd make the monthly discussions and buddy reads a lot easier/smoother.
So I was wondering if it was okay to for me make one, and if there was more interest in it?
(Also if you're interested in one, mention whether or not you would like to help manage it.)
