From what I've heard this book deserves its hype, I haven't had the chance to purchase the book yet though.

It deserves some hype, but definitely not to the level it gets.

There are so many better books out there. If SoC was adult fantasy, it wouldn't be nearly as popular. I strongly believe it was only marketed as YA for the $$$
