I really liked this book. I'm so sad that (view spoiler)[Sir Bird died, but at least he sacrificed himself to save her. (hide spoiler)] Also, I really like Eleanor. She was sweet. The ending surprised me. (view spoiler)[I did not expect the bad guy to really be Kelan. (hide spoiler)] I never liked him, but I didn't think he was that crazy/evil. I also really liked that (view spoiler)[Finn came back at the end. I didn't think he was really dead when his shadow left Jessamin, but I wasn't sure when or how he would get back to her. (hide spoiler)] I think my favorite part was the library, I didn't think that (view spoiler)[it would lead to another country. His will made me smile. I like that he called her his fiance even though they weren't technically engaged yet. (hide spoiler)]

I've been busy so I haven't had the time to start this, but hopefully I can finish reading Once a Witch tomorrow and then I will start reading Illusions of Fate.

(view spoiler)[I thought this book started off kind of weird but as it goes a long it all starts to make more sense. It sucks that Lord Downpike is such a creep. I like Finn though and its nice that he wants to help her. I just hope that things work out for them in the end. (hide spoiler)]


So far I like this book. I just hope that it ends well.

(view spoiler)[I was happy that her and Finn ended up together. It sucks that her father was killed. I know that they weren't close but still. At least Finn now knows for sure what actually happened to his parents. I'm glad that Eleanor was okay in the end. I was disappointed in the end. Kelan died and it was completely on accident. Don't get me wrong he deserved it. He was such a creep. I just wished there had been more to it than that. (hide spoiler)]


Overall I liked this book. I will admit not as much as the two of you but that's okay.

I finished reading it. I really liked it, but I thought that the end was a little rushed.
