"Yes, you did call me that..." Diego slapped his forehead. "Out of any name one remembers, that has to be the one? Yes, my middle name is Sebastian." He stood up and rushed around to hug the smaller male. "I've missed you so much," he whispered. "Don't hurt yourself over remembering, just let time take it's course. Everything will come back in good time,"

Ita's eyes widened at Diego's words. "You have more than one brain cell?" That was the most words he had spoke in years, and it seemed he was low-key sarcastic.

Dean was barely eating, well not eating. he never ate EVER!

Caspian immediately stiffened and didn't move for a moment This is a... Hug? He asked and slowly retired the gesture, holding him close. I don't remember having one... I think I like it He thought with the tiniest smile on his face. He pulled away once he heard the little boy speak, laughing and exchanging smirks with him. ”What’s your name? My name’s Caspian.”

Ita's grey eyes shimmered with glee, though his facial expression remained blank. "Ita Sharamun," he bowed his head in a respectful manner. "Or Shadowfang." He then lifted the white cat plush. "Birdsong,"

Diego pretended he didn't hear Ita's statement, and just nodded. "My code name is Golden Path. I can track without physical signs," he grinned.

"Shadow muni... Money? Manpie?" Ita furrowed his eyebrows and thought of the pronunciation, holding up a hand to make Diego close his mouth. I wanna remember it myself. "Man... Polishing?" He gently hit his head against the table and decided to describe instead. "Make things darker, more shadow-y, and shadow weaponry,"

((I've been forgetting that he's 8... He shouldn't have such a good vocabulary. xD ))

Dean continued to play with his food, he wasn't eating it and was going to throw it away.

Caspian smiled at them and laughed, already very protective of them both. ”My code name’s demi-demon. I actually have a similar power to yours” He told Ita, memorizing their names and powers. ”I can turn into shadow and travel through it. It's why I have so many tiny lights on my prison suits.” He explained, his voice bitter when talking about the lights. ”Being covered by light makes me weak.” He added. ”How long have you two been here?”

Diego felt his heart warm when he saw Caspian's smile. "I've actually be stuck here for..." He paused to think. "Three years," he sighed and looked over to the child. "Ita's been around for just a few months," he stood up and sat back down beside the shadow manipulator.

Ita nodded and looked up to Diego, holding up three fingers with a questioning look in his eyes, as if he was asking if he was showing the correct number. He hadn't known much as his age normally would, as he spent the last two years completely by himself. He was only starting to learn things by being with the oddly happy teen. How can he stay so happy in a place like this?

Diego grinned and nodded. "Sí, sí! That's right!" He ruffled the brunette's hair with a large grin.

Ita's grey eyes brightened at the confirmation at sat up straight with the tiniest bit of pride. Mama, Papa, Milly... are you proud of me? He looked upwards for an answer.

Caspian watched them with a brief glint of nostalgia in his dark amber eyes, the smile giving way to his usual calm and impassive expression; not devoid of emotion for that was suspicious. Just a calm, relaxed mask. ”That’s a long time; does it get any better?” He asked curiously, quietly munching on the food, ignoring the churning in his very thin abdomen that came with the touch of the food to his tongue, forcing himself to take the but, trying to keep his mind clear

Diego sighed and shook his head. "It only gets worse, especially if you don't do what they want," he gently hugged himself and shivered. "They have no mercy," he murmured, staring down at the table with a blank expression that made himself clear that he was used to any physical pain inflicted(?) upon him.

Caspian got up and walked over to him, not having to shorten himself at all to hug him. Because he’s a small bat boi okay? ”That means you're strong.” He said softly as a few more memories of Diego trickled in the more he saw something about/in him that he remembered broken pieces of.

"Gracias," Diego mumbled and leaned into the hug. "It means a lot, coming from you. We were best of friends when we were little. It broke my heart when you disappeared," he admitted.

Caspian stiffened and pulled away, silently sitting back in his seat. He spoke but it was in an almost silent murmur, his expression hidden by his ducked head, body tense as the slight pain hit him again, a small warning

I wonder what happened... Where did he go? Diego watched his old friend worriedly. Until something, yet again, repeatedly smacked him for attention. "What now?" He whined to the brunette. "You have a sharp hit, be careful,"

"No. Golden Path is an idiot," Ita responded and reached up to flick the Spanish boy's forehead, something he felt great pleasure in doing. "Cas... Casper? Cassandra? Cassy...an? Caspian? Caspian! Caspian hurts," the disturbingly observant child stood up on his seat and reached across the table to rest a hand on the fellow shadow-user's shoulder.

Caspian stayed still but didn't pull away, forcing a small smile. "You're observant little dude." He said and decided to change the subject. "And yeah, you got it. You can call me Casper if you want." He said fondly. He had a huge secret soft spot for little kids. There was an innocent air to them that he felt had to be protected at ll costs.

Dean was reading a book, "Romeo and Juliet", He liked romance books. It told him things he could never have in his life. he accepted that he is gay and no one will love or even like him. He looks around and looks back to his book and keeps reading. Yes, he keeps to himself the only person he talks to is a friend, he has known since he came here a few years ago.

Ita gave a tiny smile and nodded, sitting back down.

Looking around, Diego caught sight of Dean and his eyes widened. He had never teuly gotten to know the male, but he knew he had gained a crush on him after a few months of seeing him around. He looked away and tried to make himself smaller, but it was impossible. He was 6'3", he could never be able ti make himself smaller. He felt heat start to grow on his face, and he ran his fingers through his hair. "How do I look? Am I decent? Be honest," he felt his heart flutter as he glanced sideways to the boy across the room.

”W-what? Uh, you look great.” Caspian said, blushing the slightest bit until he saw him looking at another guy and his heart dropped but he ignored it. Even when they were children he remembered loving him. You’re an idiot Caspian; maybe you were best friends before but it’s been almost 6 years. He scolded and reminded himself... But he still felt it. He should it away and put on his relaxed and amused mask, chuckling lightly. ”You look fine Seb. Go get your dude” He said and got up, tugging him up and pushing him in the general direction of the other guy, sitting back down with his heart aching, feeling like it was down in his stomach as he watched with that smirk on his face, eating his food in a lazy manner

Dean was drinking his water while reading Romeo and Juliet, he got to the end and finished it, He started reading "The princess bride", He smiled when he stared reading

Diego squeaked lightly in surprise and gulped. I've never spoken to him before, though, even after seeing him for years! He looked back to Caspian as if he felt betrayed. I'm going to make a fool of myself, I just know it. He awkwardly started moving towards the male. You're an idiot. You're an idiot. He's going to think you're an idiot, too. You know it. You shouldn't do this. He stopped right in front of the table and opened his mother to speak, but nothing came out.

Ita watched Diego closely with a curious glint in his eyes. "He turns into a mess whenever he sees that one," he murmured. "Stutters, trips, rivals with tomatoes..." A part of him said his brother figure was sick, but like... It was a weird kind of sick. Not physical sickness, but emotional. It confused him to no end, so he leaned an elbow on the table and observed with his head resting against his fist.

Dean looked up, "Yes?", He put his book aside to look at Diego and smiled at him. He's cute he was thinking, "Are you okay?"

Caspian snickered at what Ita even though his stomach churned again, but it was a different kind of churning. Not the one that came with his anorexia or bulimia. He felt cold inside, but it wasn't the chill that came with being covered in light 24/7, barely being able to move. He couldn't look away though he wanted to, and it was exactly in the way that he was forced by his father to watch him dismember- cue a flash of white-hot pain, making him flinch and hold his head in his hands, stifling a yell and a whimper. He stayed like that until it subsided, looking slowly and continuing to watch with Ita like nothing had happened.

Diego sat down across the table. "I'm Diego," he managed to give a bright smile along with his introduction. "Otherwise known as Golden Path. And you?"

"Dean", He said smiling fiddling with his leather jacket

"Dean," Diego repeated the name, enjoying how it felt on his tongue. "It's wonderful!"

Dean laughed at what Diego was doing, "Diego, right?", he asked

Diego nodded excitedly. "Sí! Diego Livingston-Moreno," he, yet again, purposely dropped his middle name of Sebastian. He was never a fan of the name, but he would be damned if he legally removed it. He preferred to just forget its existence.

Caspian turned towards Ita, brushing a hand back through his jet black hair. ”Hey, do you want to walk around? As long as you do what they say, they usually let us go to the main places.” He said quietly. “I’ve been here for a while, but I was always stuffed in one of the forbidden rooms since I was critically wounded.” He explained, being vague about it on purpose

Diego sat up a bit straighter, unlike his sexuality. "Gracias! Mi madre named me," He then watched him push the tray, tilting his head to the right like a confused, sad puppy. Oh no... Is he...?

Ita looked up and nodded. "That would be nice," he replied. "I don't get to go out much, either. I'm in the high security because my shadow power can make weapons," he held the plush cat closer as remembered the deaths of his family and their killer. If anyone finds out, they'll hate me... He locked his eyes onto the ground.

Diego frowned. "You'll get sick if you dont eat," he tried to reason. He discreetly looked around for any authority within earshot. Nothing. "You won't have enough strength for getting out of here one day," he whispered, leaning in slightly.

Dean looked at him, "Fine, i'll eat", he began eating from his tray, "Happy?" he asked him as he was drinking his water

Dean finished and he actually felt a lot better, but he wasn't going to admit that.

Diego simply watched, elbow proped up on the table so he could rest his chin in his palm. He looks...better. He didnt bother to mention, as he suspected there was a stubborn streak that refused to admit he was right.

Dean looked at him and smiled, "Thank you" Dean finished his water as he looked at his book and back to Diego, figuring out if he should talk to him or continue to read his book.
