The Mars RoomI thought this one was going to be so hard, but then I saw the Mars Room, which I've been meaning to read for ages, and I was like...wow, duh, good job Graydon.
books
The Martian
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe3/10
i've decided to read 2 books this month. The Martian will be for the group read, and Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe will be a buddy read. :)
Not sure when the next book is coming out but I think I'll use this as my excuse to finally reread
so I can read
is so wonderful! i also loved
i'm hoping to read
i also have a shelf with over a 150 books if anyone needs more ideas
For this prompt I'm going with A Walk Across the Sun by: Corban Addison. I'm trying to meet the challenges using only books I currently own in an effort to clear out my shelves. It has worked well so far!
The Stars We Steal by Alexa Donne. She's an authortuber and I ought to read one of her books before I continue taking her videos as gospel
I'm trying to decide between a few for this month but I'm leaning toward Astrophysics for People in a Hurry. That or To Sleep in a Sea of Stars. But that book scares the crap out of me because of its size.
I think I will read Starfish for this month I might read the Martian as well (Martian would be classed as a space theme wouldn’t it?)
here are the books I will choose from for this one (I have so many books and it was hard narrowing it down!):
Other books at the top of my list:
Lauren wrote: "I think I will read Starfish for this month I might read the Martian as well (Martian would be classed as a space theme wouldn’t it?)"The Martian definitely counts and I'm hoping to read this one, too! There are way too many books to choose from in this category!
I will be reading To Sleep in a Sea of Stars. I picked it up a few months ago and then was very unmotivated to read it so I will try again.
Books on my TBR that fit the bill:Love in the Void: Where God Finds Us
Earth Science
Voices in the Air: Poems for Listeners
Moon of the Crusted Snow
World's End
I'm going to read one, two or all of the poetry books (which are the first 3) seeing as April is National Poetry Month!
Tentative TBR:
Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, When the Sky Fell on Splendor and The Martian are my priorities for the first week of the month, and I'll see what else I get to throughout the month.
Books I'm planning to read:Twice in a Blue Moon
The Last of the Moon Girls
The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet
I think that's a good mix of genres.
I'm planning on reading Infinity in the Palm of Your Hand: Fifty Wonders That Reveal an Extraordinary Universe (universe) and possibly also Il delitto della terza luna (luna is moon in Italian)
Just finished On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous (word: Earth) by Ocean Vuong and I'm going to finish Red Mars (word: Mars) by Kim Stanley Robinson in the next couple days :)
