Also, do you have an ISBN/ASIN for this book?
Without an ISBN/ASIN, Goodreads cannot "recognize" that a book is already in the database and will auto-import it again as soon as it becomes available, resulting in duplicates. If you want to avoid that, you will need to add the ISBN/ASIN to your entry as soon as one has been issued to you - either edit the book entry to add it yourself or come back here and request we do it.

I do not have an ASIN yet, my publisher is placing it on pre-order in January.

I'll make a note of this so I can make sure it gets done the second it hits the shelf.
